The MAIC is supported by those who understand the value of teaching invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship to the next generation of problem solvers. Our corporate and foundation supporters understand that in order to assure a pipeline of a qualified, skilled workforce for the 21st Century, we have to all work together to foster students’ interest in STEM and “catch them early” to keep their options open for careers in engineering and technology.
Sponsors choose MAIC because, by serving STEM education to thousands of young minds, it serves Massachusetts too. We continue to reach out to new districts and schools, especially in underserved urban schools, to bring this important educational experience to more students.
Corporate support can come in the form of financial support of CIC programs, in-kind support of CIC’s needs, as well as through employee volunteerism in local and state-wide events. CIC provides opportunities for corporations and foundations to fund specific interests through “Sponsor Awards” at Annual State Finals event. The CIC also works with funders to focus on specific geographic areas of Massachusetts to help with jump-starting MAIC programs in under-served cities and towns where the need for programs is the greatest.
As MAIC partners, corporate and foundation supporters enjoy visibility through recognition at the MAIC Sate event, on the MAIC website and its print publications. The best reward is knowing they have contributed to the inspiration which young inventors draw from being recognized for ingenuity and creativity.
The MAIC is a 501(c)(3) organization that is independently funded and operated by NextMinds.
